Thank you to our 2024-2025 grant providers.

To date, Prairie Meadows has given $2.1 billion through taxes, grants, and charitable donations to the state of Iowa. More than $863 million of that figure has remained in Polk County to promote economic development, jobs, agriculture, and tourism in our communities.

Support is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Iowa Arts Council, which exists within the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

The Polk County Community Betterment Grant Program was designed to provide financial support to non-profit organizations that promote cultural, recreational, educational, and essential human services to our residents. Polk County has a rich history of partnering with public and private entities to provide effective programs and services to our community. The Board of Supervisors applauds your efforts to enhance the lives of those living in Polk County, Iowa.

Funding for Bravo’s grantmaking programs is made possible by the investments from Bravo’s 17 local government partners, including Altoona, Clive, Johnston, Polk County, Windsor Heights, Ankeny, Des Moines, Norwalk, Urbandale, Bondurant, Grimes, Pleasant Hill, and Waukee.
