Call for Artists — City Sounds

CALLING ARTISTS FOR THE 2025 SEASON!

Thank you for your interest in our Public Piano Project!
Since 2014, City Sounds has commissioned local artists to transform our pianos into beautiful works of art. Each year these pianos are placed in public locations throughout our community, providing gathering spaces for music, friendship and collaboration.

Juried artists will receive a $500 stipend at the conclusion of the project.

Requirements:

All work must be completed between mid March and the end of April.

There will be a mandatory artist meeting at the beginning of March to discuss guidelines and expectations.

Location: All work will be done at Mainframe Studios at 900 Keo Way.

Ultimate piano locations will be at the discretion of the City Sounds board.

Some pianos will be held as alternates for the season.
